Thief Lord porn! With Princess Bride references, no less. Liam Neeson loves me, yes he does.

Watched Master & Commander this evening; I'd forgotten how much I adore that film, even if it is basically Tom Pullings' wet dream. The jokes, my God, the appalling yet hysterically funny jokes. Stephen being a pissy little bitch. Ickle Midshipman Blakeney, aww! The sealion that says "Argh!" Jack slagging off whalers in front of the head whaler dude. Poor, sad Tom and his unrequited Jacklove. Killick's cantankerous mutterings. Random appearence by a hobbit. And did I mention, the jokes? I thought I was going to die during that last scene; poor Stephen is handling his disappointment remarkably well for someone who is, as previously mentioned, a pissy little bitch, and Jack has to go and make that remark about flightless birds not going anywhere - it's hil-fucking-hairy-house, as we used to say back in college,

Hah! Not only is Clark's dad a spaceship, but he's also James D'Arcy's dad from that stupid film where he's a hacker and has to solve this demonic Rubix cube to avert the Apocalypse. Or something. Don't you just love genetics; one of them grows up to be Superman, the other becomes Tom "Stalker Extrordinairee" Pullings. Although actually, Clark is pretty stalkeriffic himself, and at least poor crazy Tom doesn't have to deal with Lana. So, Tom wins.

The following things are true:

Vests were not invented in 1812.

Lindsey has an Angelus-like evil alter-ego. Fortunatly, he only comes out to play if Angel ever returns Lindsey's feelings, which we all know is less likely than James Marsters appearing on television ever again.

Billy Boyd is at least 80 years old.

Angel is not fat.

At least one of my brothers is evil.

David Boreanaz is a strange, strange man.

The comparisons between Saiyuki and Angel the Series are spurious at best.

Sanzo and Angelus have nothing in common. Angelus (as far as I know) doesn't wear bondage gear under priest's robes. Also, Sanzo is a lot grumpier, doesn't speak in an evil Irish brogue and the chances of him having a nun fetish are fairly low.

I am, however, willing to buy the Kougaji/Lindsey and Gojyo/Spike connection. Though Kougaji is too tall to make a good Lindsey.

Lindsey is the Tom Pullings of the Angelverse.

FAKE 7 has an adult rating for a very good reason. It should also probably not be read in one's local Starbucks, due to the risk of shock-induced choking.

Angel's power resides not in his puppy-dog eyes, pointy hair or socially retardedness, but in his white vest.

Everybody loves young boys in kitty ears.

Stephen Maturin is the Hemulen from the Moomins.

Snufkin is all.

I hate moths.

So, I'm watching Case of Evil, avoiding doing any work, the usual thing, and it suddenly occurs to me:

No, not 'Why didn't James D'Arcy get smacked in the face with a cutlass', you heartless bastards.

That scene at the very begining where Tom, I mean, Sherlock, is fencing with good ol' Napolean-o-Crime (which incidentally, would be such a cool name for a resturant) and Moriaty says "I see you've been practising. *smirk* Clearly not with your brother..." and James D'Arcy freezes and looks all hurt.

I mean, once you've seen a couple of the flashbacks and actually met Mycroft, it makes sense, but at the time, Moriaty's comment comes across as the Victorian equivilent of 'Haha, you're brother is a fat bastard'. Which I admit, would earn you a punch in the face, but still.

Weird.

I'm watching Case of Evil. Again.

I can't get over how stupid Holmes sounds when he says 'Ladies' to those burlesque show dancers. And the eyebrow thing. And... my God, it's just stupid.

His look of suprise at that society ball when the perfume chick insists that he 'do' her friend is fucking hilarius, though.

He is so Tom Pullings pretending to be Holmes.

Yes, I think that's how I'll view it. It's all Tom. Poor, sweet, crazy Tom.

Damn James D'Arcy for being so pretty.
