Day 4

In your own space, create a fanwork. Make a drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. Arts and crafts. Draft a critical essay about a particular media. Put together a picspam or a fanmix. Write a review of a Broadway show, a movie, a concert, a poetry reading, a museum trip, a you-should-be-listening-to-this-band essay. Compose some limericks, haikus, free-form poetry, 5-word stories. Document a particular bit of real person canon. Take some pictures. Draw a stick-figure comic. Create something. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

So, I signed up for the [livejournal.com profile] spook_me challenge this year, and chose shapeshifter as my creature. The two prompt pieces of artwork I received are below:

Unfortunately, I didn't come up with anything for the second picture, but this is what I managed for the first one:

Would anyone here be interested in a) podficcing the amazing new EI fic that's being generated atm or b) letting their work be podficced by someone else?

I really, really enjoy listening to audiobooks when I'm out and about, and I was thinking last night about how cool it would be to have some Eerie fic to listen to. Unfortunately my voice is really annoying and my accent makes it hard to understand, so it's not something I can do for myself.

But if peeps on here were willing to do it, or let someone else do it to their stories, then you would be amazing and I would give you... internet gold? Shitty artwork done in Paint? My undying thumbs-up? Something along those lines.

"This is ridiculous," said Marshall. "I mean, I knew spending the summer in New Jersey was going to be different from when I was growing up here, but come on."

So, this takes place in the same world as Pay Attention, but it doesn't follow on from what I wrote so far. It's definitely set some time after that story finishes, but I've had this idea in my head for a few days so, whatever, have a thing.

So, the original prompt for this was [livejournal.com profile] yarol_2075's:

My name is Harley Holmes. Ten years ago my big brother Simon and his friend Marshall Teller disappeared. The only person who has any answers is a guy with gray hair that the Mayor is keeping prisoner. Tonight I'm breaking him out and then I'm going to find my brother and bring him home.
And nobody is going to stop me.

And the prompt for this particular prompt, which also came from [livejournal.com profile] yarol_2075, was:

That's no motorcycle...
