Once again, and I feel this cannot be stressed enough, I love fic_on_demand. And also the wonderful tenshiforgotten for writing me Thief Lord slash.

In other news, a shitty day at work. The system went down for five hours, and for every semi-decent human being who gave us their full address when asked, there were five ignorant fucknuts who huffed and whined and complained because, oh no, I need to know where you are to send an engineer to you.

And also, for future reference: when I ask for your whole address, that does not just mean the house number and name of the street. I need to know the fucking town and county, you worthless inbred streak of piss.

It's been rainy and cold all day here. Am in much better mood as a result. Also have Lost Boys soundtrack - aaah, 80's goodness. To celebrate, recs:

Senkobunny writes some mighty fine Hellsing slash, both Jan/Luke and Alucard/Luke. Go. Read.

Melrose Naboo has been around for years, and inactive (alas) since 2001. However, it remains the funniest Star Wars site I have ever seen.

I urge everyone to read The Adventures of Puppy Boy and Pointy Face. Genius. Then go back and read all of Domestic Piranhas.

Like "Kim Possible"? Like Kim Possible slash? Then check out the LJ of therealmoebius. Now with Mystical Monkey Lovin'!

Also, today is the birthday of Moomin creator Tove Jansson. Thus, this day shall henceforth be known as Tove Jansson Day.

This is what a 1926 Bentley looks like. Weird. In my mind, Crowley drives a car not unlike the Angelmobile. I miss the Angelmobile. No other car live up to it in my mind.

Also, in keeping with the Good Omens theme of today, some fic recommendations. Slash, of course, because I never read anything else.

Twofish is all shades of yummy. Angelsex, killer fish and drunken ramblings. There is no badness here.

The Sacred and the Profane is about as AU as a fic can get without leaving the fandom entirely. So much angst, (which is AU in itself if you ask me) so well written, so unfinished and unfortuantly, so unlikely to ever be updated again.

New Day and it's sequel, Heavenly Messanger, again are heavy with the angst, but very sweet and well-written, and basically just cute.

The Day After Tomorrow, not to be confused with the completely over-done disaster movie of the same name, is filled with fluffies and Aziraphale-kissage. Which frankly, is how I like my GO fic.

Aah, this is the reason I read fanfics. Kiss of Moonlight is a delightfully son-con Campula/Velkan piece, with a nice, big NC-17 rating, which we all I know I love.

Mmm, satisfying.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go bask in the afterglow. And watch some old episodes of Angel. I just love seeing him be all badass. Damn it, I'm such a Lindsey!

Not to steal your schtick, Hex, but I had to share...

The Domesday Books, an absolutely hilarious Sherlock Holmes parody-type-thing. Go. Read. You might also want to check out her fantabulistic Van Helsing slash fic, Possessions. Van Helsing/Sidekickimir, naturally.

And on that same note, "Shut up, Carl!" Of course, the first time I saw it, I thought the censorship bar was a book in Carl's hand, or maybe an information leaflet or something. Which was bloody strange.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I ruptured my spleen laughing over 'Cocaine fiend in a stupid hat!' Oww.
