Persons unnamed broke into my flat while I was at work today and stole my entire DVD collection. Thousands of pounds worth of the finest (and the not-so-fine) in entertainment, gone, just like that. I feel sick and, bizarrely, pissed off because I'm not going to find out what happened to Rico and Sweitec after Castillo made them go to a leather bar because Sonny and Zito were skiving.

I have to go through and catalogue everything they took for the insurance people, and I just keep breaking down and crying. I know it's just material stuff, but... my DVDs! And knowing someone has been in my house, touching my things... I have to leave everything as close to it's regular state as possible for the forensics, but all I can think is how much I want to clean and bleach everything to obliterate all traces.

Oh no *hugs you some more* I am so very sorry. I hope you get everything back from your insurance. But yeah, I guess the worst thing is this feeling that someone was *there* I hope the police is finished with your flat now, must be terrible to wait for them :(

They left yesterday and I can safely say the flat is now cleaner that it has been since I first moved in. I've spent the rest of the morning finishing up the list of what was missing - it's over 8k worth of DVDs, and I'm like, nobody's gonna believe anyone can spend that much on DVDs... Still, fuck it. Next paycheque, I'm going to get myself some new stuff.
