Whoa, whoa, whoa... Magneto was voiced by Christopher Judge? As in, the Christopher Judge? As in Head?! I think my brain has exploded from the incomprehensibility of ickle Pietro and Teal'c being related. Man, and I thought it was hard taking Kurt and Scott seriously when all I can hear every time they open their mouths is Quatre and Trowa.

In other news, possibly the worst thing about revisiting old fandoms is the fact that all those links you painstakingly amassed back in the day are now mostly defunct, and you're left screaming at the heavens that you want your fucking Lietro porn back right the hell now, do you hear me Liam Neeson?! But then you realise that you can preorder the entire third season on Amazon, and that love, betrayal and Pietro being bitchslapped with an armchair will be yours to own in a relivately short while, and you feel loved once again.

In X-Men Evolution? That most definitely is Teal'c :). There used to be a clip of all the voice actors on the website and I was all "but you don't look like Logan" etc etc. At least they didn't make him sound Australian like in an earlier cartoon version. It makes my brain hurt thinking about it. The original cartoon was always my favourite, though Jean was Natalie in Forever Knight, which used to always confuse me and then her archnemesis LaCroix was the Silver Surfer... weird.

Oh man, can you imagine poor Pietro trying to make it as a Jaffa? Worst. Jaffa. Ever. I mean, I thought he had it bad with the whole Daddy Mags and Mystique thing, but oh God, having to put up with Apophis dropping by for tea and plans of world domination is a whole new world of hurt.

It was such a fun show; I can forgive it's many flaws (Scott/Rogue. urgh) just for the pure cuteness that is Kurt, and Lance's big gay Jeep and Toad's... Toadness. Even Scott occaisonally crossed the line into likableness, probably because he was being played by super-cute Kirby Morrow, who I shall always love and adore as Van Fanel from Escaflowne.

I watched the first season finale tonight - the one where they all go to Asteroid M (and can mysteriously breathe and fly a helicopter in the vacuum of space, come on!) and Magneto has that machine that makes you all super-advanced and Scott and Alex get in it and come out all buff and with white hair, and you totally know that's what Magneto really wanted in a son. I bet if you listen hard enough, you can hear Pietro grinding his pretty white teeth in the background.

As a rule I've always strongly disliked Scott - he just gets my back up and I was slightly traumatised by being made to sort of like him in X-Men Evolution *feels all dirty*.

I know, it's just so wrong! Like that episode where they have to race the Brotherhood to the top of the mountain, and Lance is totally cheating his pants off and knocks Scott into the river and the X-Men are all like, "OMG SCANDEL!" and Jean's all, "Scott will handle this in a mature and sensible way..." and WHAM! Lance gets eye-beamed right off his boat, and I'm laughing but feeling guilty because it's Scott, and Scott cannot be amusing because he's a tool.

So true. Whereas I can forgive Gambit just about anything, Scott usually just irritates the hell out of me. I even started thinking that his relationship with Jean was sort of cute in Evolution. Argh.
