Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year or the equivilent winter-time celebrations. I have been sworn to secrecy as to any events that may or may not have occured in these parts, but I can tell you now that it involved the Pope, a giant mecha bunny rabbit and a sentient, and also thoroughly evil, fridge entity. Also pizza, Baileys and more Dukes of Hazzard than can possibly be good for anyone.

Comics, movies or the Evolution cartoon?

Heh. How about the comics?

I had kind of a weird introduction to the comics - I loved the old 80's cartoon as a kid, and then the first movie, but being raised on Hillbilly Island without a comic shop or even a big bookstore, I didn't get into the comics until I went to university on the mainland. And then it kind of went Excaliber-Generation X-Ultimate X-Men. So my answers are probably going to look a little... off.

1. The first character I first fell in love with
Chamber. He was so wonderfully moody and obnoxious and difficult and awesomely British, even if the writers obviously didn't know the difference between a London accent and a Yorkshire one.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Nightcrawler. The first time I saw him I was like, "Wtf?" but he was such a sweetie.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Gambit. I mean, oooh, he can throw cards, what a great power! Lame.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Emplate. He was a dude.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
Skin. Because he's dead. *tear*

6. The character I would shag anytime
Pete Wisdom. But not any more, because he's dead and that would be gross.

7. The character I'd want to be like
Pete Wisdom. Again, because he was a dude.

8. The character I'd slap
Husk. Oh God, shut up Paige! Every time you talk I want to rip off my face with fury!

Chamber/Skin. Because ugly mutants are love! Also Wolverine/Nightcrawler, although I refuse to use the word "logurt" because that's just wrong.

Husk/Chamber. Urgh. Just... urgh.
