I just saw the Lobster and it was AMAZING and I'm not even saying that because Colin Farrell, except in the non-shallow sense that Colin Farrell is an AMAZING actor and please somebody talk to me about it because I have all these feelings and if I dont discuss them I'll cry and then die.

I gave it 3 stars because there were parts that pissed me off, like lack of exposition in spots, lack of character development, and... and THE DOG!!!!

I saw it back in June, so I don't remember specifics, but I do remember hating it a little bit in the theater, but then liking it more and more afterwards.

Also, I didn't recognize Colin Farrell AT ALL and was shocked when my boyfriend pointed him out.

the thing with the dog that i didnt get was that the woman is supposed to not have feelimgs but surely that meant she would be indifferent to the dog, not want to kill him?

She was calling his bluff on him pretending to be like her.
There's a book, too... I kinda want to read it to see if I can get more answers, but I feel like it would only infuriate me.
