Man, I totally wrote the last chapter of that story (not the bits inbetween, just like, the coda) and it was on my old laptop and its totally dead now, sigh.

OMG I am the same way with literally all of those unfinished fics I just dug up on my LJ! I had the next parts or the end parts or whatever started but now their gone because my old lap top is a dead pos.

Date: 2015-07-24 10:43 pm (UTC)I've been really suprised by how much life there is on here - maybe it's because I actually have the internet now so I respond in a reasonable time and it keeps the flow of conversation going instead of replying to a comment three weeks after it gets posted, but last year it kind of felt like all of LJ was a ghost town.
Of course, it may also be that Eerie is just legit awesome.

Basically there's this parallel earth that has magic. or mostly used to...it's kind of faded away because of this super crazy sorcerer who was like I WILL CONQUER BOTH WORLDS and they imprisoned him and were like "Ok, we're good" except he was like "I WILL RETURN!". He eventually became a sort of god figure, then a myth, and now he's pretty much forgotten and so is magic except he hasn't forgotten and he's putting his plan into action and shits about to get crazy.

Date: 2015-07-26 06:43 pm (UTC)I've commissioned quite a few fanarts in the past, and yeah in general it is a one-to-one commission because fanart tends to be a personal thing, but all most artists want is to be paid for their work so I doubt that there would be many there that would complain about having more than one person as the receiver.
Normally with the art I've commissioned I've received a HQ file of the piece that's mine to do with as I please, and the artist is free to post the lower quality image wherever they want to show their work. There are artists that on Redbubble or even Deviant Art that print their work onto t-shirts or posters or whatever through the website, so it might be worth contacting one of them to commission them.

no idea if she actually accepts commisions tho - her profile was kind of spare - but I figured it wouldnt kill me to ask!
