Woo! POTO and my copy of Black Angel arrived today, at long last. Perhaps it's because I am horribly biased against the childed, but it really seems like Rachel has turned into a total Breedzilla since she and Bird had their first child. I mean, it's not like Bird didn't attract danger before she got pregnant, or that Angel and Louis weren't murky criminal underworld types, but suddenly, just because she's contracted womb parasites, everyone around her is supposed to transform into fine upstanding citizens? This is why I hate kids in adult fiction. Little bastards ruin everything. Silly tart. I hope she leaves him if she's going to keep whinging like she does in the first few chapters.

On a more positive note, although I of course love all of Gerik's outfits, the Red Death one causes strange things to happen to my body:
