OH MY GOD, dudes, how awesome is White Collar? I'd sort of forgotten about it since season one ended and for some unknown reason, probably to do with the fact that the UK hates freedom, season 2 isn't out until January of next year, but I was catching up on it today and OH GOD SO GOOD!

Johnny and the Mighty Prawn (he has upgraded himself from just The Prawn) are still "too sick to work", so inbetween frying steaks, drinking beer and playing motorbike games today, they were wandering in and out while I was watching it, and according to The Mighty Prawn, "I would do all of those characters". Truly, no higher praise!

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say, so I'm going back downstairs to watch the rest. Laters!

I really liked season one of "White Collar" - I've no idea when I'm gonna watch season 2. I'm tempted to download which is something I don't normally do.

When people first started talking about it on LJ, I was excited because a) it has Jonesy from Carnivale and b) everyone was going on about the homoerotic subtext, which I am all about, but I took it with a pinch of salt because, frankly, the internet exaggerates everything.

And then I watched it and it was actually gayer than LJ made it out to be. It was like a Christmas miracle, only in July!

I don't think I knew too much about it when I started watching it but it's definitely a big old bromance. The final scene in the finale is like something out of an old romantic movie.

Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay have amazing chemistry.

Incidentally, if you like the subtext in this you need to watch the "Hawaii Five-0" remake.

And Elle! I can't believe I forgot to mention Elle - I never like the wife/girlfriend of crime-investigating dudes, because they're usually dreadful harpies who distract from the crime-stopping by yammering about relationships or whatever, but Elle is so awesome, not only do I not-like her, I in fact like her!

I've been thinking about watching H50 but it's got that guy with the lob-sided manboobs from Moonlight in it and I'm not sure I can take his mismatched moobage in a show set on beaches...

Yeah, Elle is pretty awesome. I always love her scenes with Neal too.

Aww, I think Alex O'Loughlin's pretty hot in H50 so I have no problem watching him on the beach. I never really watched "Moonlight" (I think I may have seen one episode once) but I think he looks way better now. Anyway, the bromance on H50 is epic.

I love when Peter and Neal have spats and she's usually the one in the middle listening to both sides, and she's sort of sympathetic but mostly she's like, "TEEHEE!" inside. And then occaisonally when she does take a side, it's super-serious because it means one of them is right and one of them is an utter wrong-o-saurus.

Well, he doesn't have moobs in your icon, so MAYBE I'll risk it next time it's on. You'd better not be lying about the subtext, though!

Yeah, it's pretty cool when she does that - incidentally, I haven't watched "White Collar" in a while and I really feel like watching it now.

I would never lie about that - while I'm not really into proper slash I do love a good bromance and Steve and Danny in H50 is my favourite, along with Neal and Peter.
