Happy birthday, Jebus! I hope you are looking down on us and thinking that getting crucified so that we could open presents and eat too much food and fight with our relatives was totally worth it... but if you didn't, I wouldn't fault you.

Anyway, just finished the last of my shiny new 4400 books. Promises Broken was lovely (Yay Shawn! Yay Jordan! Yay Tom and Diana!) Welcome to Promise City was a boring badly-characterised suckfest that reads as though it was written by a thirteen year old who has yet to grasp the notion that you don't need to physically describe each character every time they make an appearance - I mean, I know what Joel Gretsch looks like, thanks - and the other two were about what I'd expect for published fanfiction, ie, okay, but needs either more porn or tighter writing. Preferably both, but I don't expect miracles.

I'm halfway through 'Broken promises' now. I'll let you know when I've finished it.

Wet Work was okay, but there wasn't enough of the core characters for me to really click with it. As an addition to the 4400 universe, yeah, it was pretty well done - the characters were quite good, the story was quite interesting - but dude. WHERE IS BEAUTIFUL EARNEST TOM BALDWIN?

Promises Broken is great though - message me when you've finished it 'cause I don't want to spoil it for you.

I know this is so random but I really was not a fan of 4400 in season 4. I loved season 1-3 but and season 4400 broke up pretty nasty I still really want to know what happen at the end but I also don't want to go and buy the books and hate them in desperate way. So can u just tell me what happen in the last book, mostly what happen to Shawn and Jordan becuz they where/are my fave characters and I can't find spoiler about the books anywhere. Looking for spoiler via Google actually lead me here. I am willing to buy the books but only if I know it won't make me want to vomit all over my feet. Thanx in advance.
