Im like eight million years behind on Gotham (apparently Nygmobblepot does not become canon? Oh Please. ive seen the gifs.) but i love that Lee's deep dark Tetch Virus-revealed secret is... she's totally into brooding violent mardy manchildren. And like, yeah, its not great and it leads to way too much drama, but Lee. Lee. Your biggest shame is like the number one trope that sells romance novels. Cut yourself some slack. We all fancied Angelus back in the day.

Fuck Jim Gordon though. God he's annoying. Stropstropstrop, all the time stroppy, like some five year old thats dropped all his sweets.

I haven't watched Gotham in a long time, but Jim Gordon was always the worst. And Bruce Wayne. Why can't they just fuck off?

Oh God i rewatched a couple of the season one episodes and he was so fucking up his own arse! Like at one point he got super stroppy that the Wayne murders werent just magically solved and he goes to Wayne Manor and like resigns in a massive huff, but like totally directed at Bruce,like Bruce is deliberately being a sad orphan *at* him and making his job harder. What a tool.

It definitely got better when they realised it was cheesy garbage and started actually playing towards their strengths, ie, ham, chewed scenery, and ham. They have a super weird subplot in season four where Nygma is stupid now and he becomes a wrestling promoter/character but his wrestling persona is a heel wrestler version of Penguin and it is so dumb and I love it like I love 90s boy band music videos.

I honestly never understood why it wasn't just a show about Fish and Penguin fighting and having gang wars and secretly kind of loving each other and trying to kill each other, and all the other villains quietly growing into themselves on the sidelines. But if they're doing something fun with it now, at least that's something.

That would have been 100% better than the entire first season. Also ugh i forgot Barbara was never allowed to wear pants in s.1. I just started skipping her scenes, they're way too uncomfortable.

I'm... somewhere at the beginning of S2. I want to like it but I can't manage more than a couple of episodes at a time. I'm lowkey in love with Selina Kyle though!

I actually do better with binging it in sessions as it helps me adjust to the cheese level faste. If I impeach one of two i find it hard to detach from the giant ham wall enough to enjoy it!

Salina is pretty cool.
