Watched Hannibal for the first time ever. I'm afraid of mushrooms, so I literally spent the first two eps rolling my eyes and muttering that the whole show was just hugh dancy twitching and the other guy eating in a super pretentious way, and went straight to FREAKING THE FUCK OUT in the fungus fields episode. OH MY GOD WHEN ONE OF THEM WOKE UP VOMMING FOREVER FUCK YOU MUSHROOMS YOU LITERAL PIECES OF SHIT

oh my god it was gross! like, the plant zombies in z nation are funny because theyre so shit, but this looked like actual real human bods covered in mushrooms and OH GOD i cannot handle fungus

I gave up on it half way through series three I think, but I had this love-hate thing with the show. I mean, it's awful as far as actual plot goes, but OMG its creepily beautiful and I was addicted to that :s

I have seen neither Hannibal or a person afraid of Mushrooms. But I'm super afraid of Butterflies, so maybe we're even there.

I've met plenty of people who didnt like mushrooms, as in didnt enjoy the taste, but only one other person who had a visceral shuddery disgust reaction to them. We bonded.

Is it because they have pretty wings but gross bug bodies? If I see them fluttering, I'm fine, but if one lands near me or my stuff i freak out and shoo them away with their gross bug feet

Fluttering is fine, but I think it's the grip of their little bug feet that freak me out the most. I tremble at the very thought of them landing on me!
