Saw someone with a welcome to nightvale "catch the flesh eating reading bacteria" bookbag walking out of waterstones today. I was like OMG A TOTAL COOL PERSON and then i walked off because i didnt want to be weird. But still, a cool person lives on my island! So cool.

Dude, I think Night Vale fans appreciate being called out for their swag. I was stopped by someone who commented on my Eternal Scout patch and she was going to see their show that night - I was going to the Mountain Goats show that night (they were also a very special Weather feature), but it was in the same location as the Night Vale show I went to the previous month, so that was quite a coincidence :)

I know, i would be thrilled to have someone recognise my wtnv shirt and start a conversation, but doing it from the other side feels so... uncomfy and forced. Like theyd be all omg who is thisNERD talking about NERD THINGS to me in the street?! I know it makes no sense, but it would be enough to throw me off and make me awkward and creepy.
