Last night i dreamt a woman i work with was in a relationship with abraham lincoln. there was a jelly apocalypse just wiping out humanity, like you know the transparent slime inside a pork pie, between the pastry and the meat lump inside? It was that stuff. If it touched you it spread all over you and you were suspended in it, not dead but like in suspended animation, like you couodnt move or speak and you werent aware of the world around you. The only way to get out was if a noninfected person touched you, then the slime spread to them and you were free.

Anyway, this lady got infected, and for some reason she was more important to humanity's survival than Lincoln, so he sacrificed himself to save her. He took some of her bangles to wear so he would have part of her when he as in the jelly, and she cried nad screamed and it was really sad.

Then it was later and this stpry had become a famous tale of love and sacrifice to the survivors of the jelly apocalypse and someone made a movie of it. The world was still all jelly and a bunch of us were watching this movie. The lady was with us and lincoln was still in jelly. Anyway we got to the scene where movie!lincoln goes in jelly and movie!lady was crying and then she was all like noooooooooooooo i loooovvveeeeee yooooooouuuu and it was suer dumb and overdramatic and all of us sat around waching it started laughing.

This woman just watched a dramatised version of the time she lost the love of her life, and WE STRAIGHTUP LAUGHED IN HER FACE ABOUT IT.

Dream me is mean, i guess.

Woah. On one hand, dream you got some issues they need to work out...

On the other hand, whenever someone laughs at something inappropriate (and working with animals, it happens a lot. I had one colleague that would laugh whenever she was telling me that something had died, and she never meant it in a nasty way) I remember something I read once about laughter being the all clear signal. It's the thing we do when we fall or suffer trauma and get out the other side. It's the thing we do to tell the world "hey. It's ok. I'm alive. Still."

So yeah, maybe dream you was just laughing to comfort her that she was alive because of Abe's sacrifice.

Or yeah. Maybe dream you is heartless XD

Oh no, we like, imitated the stupid nooooooo i looooovvvveee yoooouuuu screams and i laughed so hard that i irl woke myself up. Dream me is an awful person. I thought she'd be like, blonder hotter me, with a cool name like Ruby or Gem, but she's just Angelica Pickles with a fucking goatee evil twin levels.

She wasnt in work today. Probably on compassionate leave after having her grief openly mocked by her coworkers..

Now this is a story I would read if it had been written. Write it and see if you can get the film made of it. You could even ask your woman if she'd like the lead role in it.
