Friday Night Lights is totally giving me feelings. I hate having feelings before I go to bed. This is literally one of the dumbest calls I have ever made.

FNL was one of my favorite shows. Well, the first 3 seasons. Not so much the last 2 when they made a lot of cast changes.

I always forget how much I love it and how good it is - I think it's because I suck so badly at explaining it to other people that I end up being like, "oh, their accents are really pretty" and then I watch it again and I'm like OH THE FEELINGS but then I try explaining it again and I'm like, "uhhhh, they are in highschool and they play american football..." and dudes are like, "but yoy hate high school and sports" and I'm like, "ummmm... pretty accents?"

I know. I tell folks, "It's soooo good" and they're like "What's it about" and I'm like "This high school football team" and then they're like "I don't like football" and I'm all, "But it's really not about football! I mean, it kinda is but it's not" and they just think I'm confused and ignore me.

But it IS confusing because by all rights a show about highschool football should be the absolute opposite of awesome but oh my God I just watched the episode where Street calls out his drunk best friend for never visiting in the hospital and it was soooooooo with the feelings oh my Gooooddddd.

OMG, my love for Street knew no bounds. Him and Matt and Tim. I just wanted to find them all and smother them in hugs.

Ohhhh Matt! I just watched the episode where he goes on his first date with Coach Lovely-Voice's daughter, and the whole thing up to now was sweet and funny because, you know, Matt's kinda goofy and Coach Lovely-Voice is either trying to intimidate him or cockblock him altogether and Julie is just kind of amused by it all...

...and then his friend rings and his gran is in tears and he has to sing to her and it's so sad and humiliating for him and he's so sweet and patient and Julie and Landry (?) are so wonderful about it afterwards.

Matty and Grandma Saracen were so wonderful together. I died at least a dozen times from the feels they gave me.
