So this weekend I introduced a friend to the ETERNAL BEAUTIFUL AWESOMENESS that is Rocknrolla, and while most of the film was spent marvelling at the various flavours of male hotness on display, she did make the observation that one of the perks of being the sensible one in your group of friends is that you get to sit back and laugh yourself sick when your friends get themselves into enormous messes. And as soon as she said it, all I could think of is how well that maxim applies to Simon from Eerie Indiana, and now I really want fic where Simon just wryly observes while Mars has wacky misadventures brought on by his own huge lack of common sense.

Yes, that could be Simon all over, with a side of laughing at Dash. Because let's face it, Dash gets himself into some ridiculous shit, too. I would enjoy fic about this.

Yes. YES. There totally needs to be fic where Simon is the first-person narrator and he comments all dryly on Dash and Mars' adventures and it would be PERFECT.
