Urgh. I remembered today that I'm required to submit a copy of my dissertation on floppy disk, so I had to go into town to buy one. Crowds everywhere! Plus, as a special Weekend Bonus, a coach-load of drunken morons who I assume were some kind of sport fans hanging around outside Morrisons. Yay.
Still, I got my floppy disks and made it home in one piece, even if I did have to take a shower when I got back to wash all the Fucktard off me. So I ate brownies and watched more Highlander.
Just when I was starting to get annoyed with Season Five (no Methos, Duncan and Joe angsting over the whole Immortal/Watcher thing again, Richie being... well, himself, but even more annoying and ginger than usual), along comes an episode like Dramatic License. I'm not sure what's funnier, Duncan being molested by a romance novelist or the fact that Amanda reads romance novels. Duncan's sheer manliness giving Editor Tim the vapours was also worthy of a good snorfle.
Also, yay for Duncan finally telling Carl to knock off playing the race card every time something goes wrong in his life. "Oh noes, the cops are after me because I'm black!" Yeah, of course, Whiny McChiponshoulder, it's got nothing to do with you beheading a guy in front of witnesses! That's crazy white folk talk.
You know, Eric McCormack does absolutely nothing for me as Will in Will and Grace (although that's possibly because the show itself does nothing for me, except occaisonally cause indigestion), but a little extra weight and a Southern accent and my girly hormones are vibrating with glee. I worry me.
