So, today it was super warm and sunny yet also super windy and I went into Port Erin for a walk along the beach and the tide had gone out about an hour before I got there, so mostly the sand was wet but the top layer of it was just drying out, and the wind was picking up the dry top layer and whisking it along the dark smooth wet sand in these pale golden ribbons just a couple of inches off the surface, and it was like little golden dragons or something skimming along the beachfront. I wish I'd had a video camera, because it was completely awesome.
