So, I'm at home last night watching Bones (because the X-Files is a little too focused on storylines involving killer bugs for my liking, and I'm putting it on hold until Johnathan gets me a list of Krycek-y episodes that ALSO do not contain bugs) and it occurs to me, The Dave's boss in s1 is so totally trying to be Agent Skinner. And failing! And then I got to thinking about how much better The Dave would be than Mulder if he was in charge of the X-Files, because he would have pushed Cancer Man through a window in the first episode, and then had wacky adventures involving comedy socks and/or puppets, and it would have ruled.

Also, Nicholas Lea would have still been in it, but he'd be Corey from Highlander and wear a wacky crime hat! And not be dead! It would rule.

This totally proves that they should put me in charge of TV for the world.
