froodleSo, the DVDs I ordered at the end of May have finally arrived. Woo! Spent the last week watching the second season of Numb3rs, and my thoughts are thus:
We had a fancy derss day at work on Monday; I was a pirate and it was totally awesome. Although because it was pouring with rain and I walk to work, my fake beard got too wet and wouldn't stick properly. Although arriving dripping wet and with my hair in rat tails did give me an appropriatly piratey look.
In other news, I have also been watching Getbackers, but only the second season has arrived so I don't know who a lot of the side characters are because I never saw all of the first Limitless Fortress storyline. However, Shido getting an army of monkeys to destroy a town because he had a fight with Madoka, I get. Ginji's "LIKE A HORSE!", I get. And Akabane visiting Ginji in hospital and feeding him bits of apple, I get and am in hysterics over.
PS: Homura! Such a pedo! Oh my God!
- Charlie! I love you like monkey! A tiny, math-doin' monkey!
- "Amita is a very shrewd mathmatician, so you'll never get her to believe this (holds up thumb and forfinger about an inch apart) is six inches."
"Well, I imagine with you that subject's never... come up." HAH! And then the new FBI dude (poor man's version of Booth!) is like, "Oooh, math fight!" Shush, poor man's version of Booth, everyone can see you've got a crush on Charlie. - The DAD! Seriously, I want him to adopt me. He is the coolest dad ever.
- New FBI girl. I actually didn't mind the old FBI girl, but this one is better. When suspects and stuff are rude to her, she does this fixed smile thing which totally makes me laugh. It's like, *big fake grin* "I'm terribly sorry that you're a big murderin' pedo, sir, and also I'm going to pistol-whip you now and put you in jail forever." Awesome.
- LARRY! Why does he only eat white food? Will he get it together with New FBI Girl? IS there anything funnier than him using quantum entanglements to give Don relationship advice?
- BIG DADDY LUTHOR! His coolness and presence in stuff I am watching is almost making me want to watch Smallville again. This time he was pretending to be psychic and winding Charlie up and Charlie was all, "OMG you can't believe this stuff!" and Don was like, "Well I don't understand it, but I don't understand your math things either," and Charlie got in a big mood and stormed out and BDL was like, *hairflick*. It was awesome.
- How totally gay Don and Charlie were in the last episode where everyone keeps dreaming about the dead mum. Seriously. So gay. I love it.
