Oh em gee, my pedigree chums! My trip to the Island of Flipperhanded Cropeared Walleyed Inbreedotrons has not been taken in vain. For lo, we doth now possess a Monsoon, and thusly did I procure a skirt for work that does not have holes punched in it by certain smiley-headed coworkers, and also I am filled with cakey goodness, but in addition and most importantly, I have the first season of Thundercats on DVD. Let us be glad, let us be grateful, and yes, let us rejoicify.

Of course, my two youngest brothers have revealed themselves to be uncultured hobosaurii, by not only failing to be suitably gleeful but also by failing to have heard about the Thundercats at all. Knaves and pedants they be!

In other news, although I am by no means a Grammar Nazi, a Spelling Fascist or a Punctuation Dictator, I find it incredibly irritating when books, ostensibly edited by people who can actually read, are full of SPG errors. Fynoderee is a book set on the Isle of Man, with heavy reference to Manx folklore and local legends, and a plot that would be at least mildly entertaining if some lackwit had not let it go to print riddled with so many errors that even those who frequent FF.net would have mocked it. Seriously people, if you're (and that's "you're", not "your", numbnuts) going to go to all the effort of publishing something, printing the pages, illustrating the chapter headings and paying a local artist to do a remarkably impressive cover illustration, at least try to catch the more glaring spelling mistakes. Stuff like this is what makes the Isle of Man suck.
