Is the whole theme of Criminal Minds basically to torture and embarrass Spencer Reid in the most torture-y and embarrassing ways possible? Because he just got his ass kicked by Luke Perry and all his friends listened to it happen and I don't know, if it was me I would just kill myself rather than live another day knowing that Luke Perry could beat me in a fight.

LUKE PERRY. There are some things that being skinny just doesn't excuse you from, and being battered by Luke Perry is one of those things. I don't think I can watch anymore, I just feel too embarrassed for Reid.

Reid just has a big TORTURE ME sign on his back. Bad things happen to him, and the audience goes awwww.

(Mind you, Agent Hotchner has a bit of it too. It's the eyebrows. They emote so well.)

But LUKE PERRY! I mean, if Shannon Dougherty took him out, I could respect that because everyone knows she's a badass and 9 out of 10 celebrities could not beat up Shannon Dougherty, but Luke Perry is hands-down the most embarrassing 90210 alumni to lose a fight to. It has been proven with science and everything!

(I haven't seen much of it from Agent Hotchner, but then his eyebrows absorb pain, allowing him to be stoic in the face of hideous doom and washed-up bit-part actors from terrible '90s teen shows. Spencer Reid dosn't have magical eyebrows, so he must experience the agony FULL ON.)
