froodleOh, one last thing before I leave: you know what I love about Escaflowne? Aside from it's general awesomeness, obviously?
It's that scene near the end where Hitomi has visions of all those people who died, and there's Van's parents, and you're like, aww! And then there's the Dke of Freid and Marlene, and you're like, aww! And then there's Balgus, and you're like, aww... I guess.
And then! Thee's Folken and his TWO lesbian catgirls and this big shit-eating grin on his face, and you're like, hysterics! Because in the afterlife, Folken is some kind of SUPER PIMP! He's like Magnum PI or something. And it rocks so hard, it almost makes you forget to be mopey about his death.
