The L Word has never really appealed to me; it kind of looks like the US version of Queer As Folk but with lesbians. And considering I wasn't keen on the UK QaF, and a couple of episodes of the US version nearly made me lose the will to live, I decided I would give it a miss. Might try renting the third season, though, if only for Dallas.
