I'm not saying I would have done the same - there's no guarantee I'd get away with it and murder usually carries a heavy cost of you get caught - but having recently vacated a building shortly after two walking noise complaints moved in, if someone had wanted to kill them, I'd have certainly held the door while the corpses were being dragged out.
