I do like that, the actual world he creates is great and.some of the ghost manifestations are so creepily described - i admit the frst ghost in screaming staircase, i was listening to the audiobook in bed and i was lying there with my eyes wide open and my arms and legs safe.in the bedroom. Not bad for a book aimed at 12 year olds!
