Oh, PS! I have come to the conclusion that either I am getting stupider (quite possible, after TWO YEARS at smelly Gamestec) or I was very, very drunk when I last watched the Utena movie, because I swear to God it made sense then. Not in a linear-story-telling sort of way, but in a I-kind-of-get-the-symbolism-even-though-this-is-immensely-fucked-up sort of way. But this time around, I was just like "OMG WTF UTENA CAR?!" Although it was super-awesome when the Student Council rescued them from the evil Shiori cars. And that has nothing to do with the fact that Saionji looked totally hot gettin' all grease-monkey with his spanner.
