froodleAccording to the new School of Law rules on absenteeism, anyone missing a seminar has now to provide a reason and some form of corroboration when they submit their "I didn't go to my seminar because I'm a lazy twat/was hungover/didn't do the reading" sheets to the seminar leader.
I'm interested to know exactly what kind of corroboration they expect us to give...
"To [Seminar Leader],
I apologise for not being in Land Law today. Unfortunatly, I was crippled with period cramps. Please find enclosed one freshly-used tampon and an empty packet of Midol."
"I regret that reading horrible goth poetry on LJ left me vomiting black bile for hours on end. Please find attatched copy of offending poem and container of aforementioned bile."
"I had stomach flu. I enclose samples of both vomit and urine, should you wish to test my alcohol levels."
"I was at the funeral of my mother, who recently lost her battle with lung cancer. I attach a copy of the death certificate and a photograph of me standing by the open casket. Please note resemblance between dead woman and self."
In other news, parental units + twins are visiting tommorrow, and staying for four days. Went out today and purchased large amounts of shiny new manga to ease my pain. Shall update when I don't have 300 pages to read for Evidence seminar on the morrow.
