So today I spent pretty much the entire day out in the front yard, just reading and drinking tea and eating chocolate gingers. It was awesome! Of course, now I am all sunburned and the Brothers Froodle have started calling me Prawn Heg 2 (my brother Wilhelm, who is even fairer than I am, is the original Prawn Heg) and after spending an hour laughing at him as he played MotoGP, he gave me the controls and it turns out I am really bad at racing games.

Anyway, I just got back from a three-hour walk along the coastal footpaths and I am quite deliciously tired, so I'm going to take a shower and then go to bed, so, goodnight all!

I'm torn between being happy that you're having a relaxing time, recovering from that hell hole you used to work in...and being insanely jealous of your free time and the fact that it's warm enough where you are to sit outside and get sunburned... :D

(So far, the forces of good are still winning...and I'm truly glad you're having a fantastic relaxing time of it.)

If it makes you feel any better, it's really misty and overcast today ;D The best thing about living right on the sea front is also the worst thing about it - whatever the weather is doing, there's no way to get away from it.

Also, I have this perfect line down each arm where my inner arms are all red and burned, and my outer arms are pale and freckly like they always are!
