Whee, book signing fun tomorrow! Gasp as Froodle defies the deadly Leeds roads to meet her idol! Thrill as she lugs her heavy-ass hardbacked editions of Every Dead Thing and the Unquiet from Holbeck to the city centre! Laugh as she once again makes a total idiot of herself by forgetting her name! Swoon as she describes how totally charmsome John Connolly is in person!

Or, you know, just ignore me like a big smelly ingrate. That's fine. You're the ones losing out. Losers!

In other news, I have finally got around to watching Medium. Patricia Arquette is like the living, breathing embodiment of insipidness. Doctor Matt is sweet. Everyone loves Doctor Matt. Doctor Billy sucks. He is a big murderin' necrophiliac and wears a stupid Italian shirt. Later for you, Doctor Billy. Also, that oldest daughter needs a slap like, every time she appears. I would have to kill a child like that.

Also, is there a secret underground railroad smuggling BSG stars onto the Supernatural set? I've seen Doc Cottle, Leoben and my poor lovely Jammer in the first season alone. Second season comes out soon, whee! Dean!

Now if I'd been organised and not forgotten about it completely I would have arranged to meet you there. I did end up through some weird stroke of luck to be in Waterstones for his signing - not by any forethought on my part :) - I kept thinking how gorgeous his accent was and that he was a lovely man. Really good new book too - we talked about our mums and Catherine Cookson!

Aww, that would have been awesome! Is he not the is the very definition of loveliness? We talked about how much ex-manager was a smug fuckwit and how I should be allowed to skive as much as I like because I am so helpful and steal people's coffee and the growing of hobo beards. And he gave e a free CD and just was utterly lovely and kissed me on the cheek!

He was such a sweetheart and he insisted that I took a CD for my mum too. I saw The Cribs later on yesterday so all in all it has to be one of my favourite days ever.
