Tch. It is only day one of my BEAUTIFUL STRETCH OF JOBLESSNESS (fucktarded Gamestec made me come in to work my notice, then sacked me a week into it. WTF POWER TRIP! Did I mention I hate them?) and already I am cross and disillusioned. Apparently, in order to claim jobseekers, one actually has to seek a job. Who makes these rules?! I had to wear a suit and go to interviews and everything! I am very disgruntled.

A very busy week, filled with (CUNT!) managers and (BULLSHIT!) disciplinary procedures on the one hand, and on the other, picnics, theatre and a BBQ, during the course of which we accidently melted Jess's patio furniture. And by "us", I mean "Alan", as I was innocently sitting nearby and playing with their rabbit. I saw Joanna Lumley in the Cherry Orchard, and it was awesome, and Acorn Antiques: the Musical, which was... kind of cringeworthy, really. Also, I am all sunburned on one arm and it is both painful and embarrasing.

In other news, everyone should run out right now and buy The Extraordinary and Unusal Adventures of Horatio Lyle, by Catherine Webb. Because they are both extrardinary and unusual, and if you don't buy it, you are a Total Losertron and will go to Hell and be mocked by everyone whose taste in books is cooler than yours, and you don't want that.

That's pretty much everything that is going on right now, except that I finally learnt to use the computers in the Central Library, so you might actually hear from me more often now. Rejoice!
