An interesting bit of Van Helsing-related news here. Personally I prefer Van Helsing/Carlimir to Van Helsing/Dracula, but never mind.
In Angel-related news, have just seen the episode where Holtz takes baby Connor dimension-hopping. Thank God. Also, Angel trying to smother Wesley with a pillow is hilarious. Just can't take David Boreanaz seriously at all in that scene.
Still hate Fred.
Am also wondering if it was intentional that the creepy little girl Angel and Lilah meet in the White Room looks like a younger version of Eve.

Okay, when I read that, the first thing that popped into my head was Uncle Fester, and now I want to see a Celebrity Death Match-style show with Angel vs Uncle Fester. Except that I don't, because Angel would probably lose.
Illyria was great - Wesley's all, go to the lab, and Illyria's like, "I go because it suits me, bitch!" and Wesley's all, "I am emasculated". Plus the bit in the last episode with the headtilt and cutting away to imply massive violence.
And I get that she was supposed to contrast with Cordy and Darla, but there's a world of difference between being shy and just being annoying.
*snerk* Everyone thinks about Angel. Hell, I think even Angel thinks about Angel.

Ilyria was violent and proactive - doesn't that sound like I'm describing Faith? :) Fred was just... slightly eccentric and moderately irritating. Maybe I'd have liked her better if she was given a more active role. All that wallflower stuff can be annoying.
Just imagine what he was like when he could see his own reflection.
