In your own space, talk about why you are doing the Fandom Snowflake Challenge? What drew you to it as a participant? What do you hope to accomplish by doing these challenges?

In all honesty, I'm doing it because all the posts on my Flist mentioned that it was fun, that it was low-pressure, and that it was primarily an excuse to talk about your fandom/s and why they were so great in tandem with a bunch of other people doing the same thing.

Last year was the first time I've engaged with any fandom in an active way for years. It started with an Eerie, Indiana rewatch on the eerie_indiana comm in August and spiralled from there. I had forgotten how much fun fandom is, and I wrote more than I had in a long, long time. I want to keep that feeling going, and share it.
