He is feeding people to a werewolf every 13 years; compared to that, a night in the cells and a few evenings and weekends picking up rubbish for something he wasn't involved in counts as getting off lightly...

Apparently he appears in some of the books and they dive a bit deeper into the various sketchy biz he's involved in. I really need to read them at some point, but I'm worried that they won't live up to the show and I'll be disappointed,which is why I've not made the effort yet.
